The Significance of Presidential Platforms and Plans in Shaping Election Outcomes
Kamala Harris Introduces Policy Proposals on Campaign Website Late in the Campaign Cycle
To make a responsible and informed decision in any election, it is essential for everyone to approach the voting process thoughtfully and discerningly. I’m driven by a deep desire to see America rise to its feet again, ensuring that the choices we make lead to a safer, more just society that benefits everyone, not just a select few, particularly women, undocumented immigrants, and the LGBTQ+ community. This is why I refuse to take my vote lightly. I need to be certain that I’m making the right choice, which requires a thorough evaluation of each candidate’s plans, platforms, and track record.
A candidate’s platform is a blueprint of their vision for the future and a roadmap for how they plan to address the pressing issues facing America and the world. By closely analyzing these plans, I can assess whether the candidate’s proposals are realistic, feasible, and aligned with the values and needs of the broader community. Their platform should be more than a collection of ideas - it should be a vision for a future where our communities thrive, where safety isn’t just a promise but a reality, and where progress is felt by every individual, not just a specific demographic.
Having a vision isn’t enough. I need to know that a candidate can deliver. This is where their track record becomes crucial. I examine their past, searching for evidence that they’ve walked the talk, that they’ve made decisions and taken actions that genuinely improved lives. I need to see their integrity in action.
Here are both candidates' websites, and I’m disgusted to learn that it seems the Harris campaign focuses more on collecting donations rather than actually listing a clear platform or outlining any concrete plans for what she intends to do if elected, despite the election being just two months away. Kamala Harris is vying for the most powerful position in the world, yet her campaign offers no clear vision, choosing instead to waste time smearing her opponent Donald Trump rather than addressing the urgent issues we face. How can her party expect us to choose them? Are we supposed to just take it at face value and trust their empty promises again? A smart voter will not, but an imbecile will.
